How it works

  1. Register a Trello board webhook via the admin page
  2. Optionally add a style to your board description: [style:cyberpunk neon] — or multiple styles separated by | for random variety: [style:cyberpunk neon|watercolor|flat illustration]. Add [colors:off] to disable color matching
  3. Create or rename a card — a placeholder cover appears instantly
  4. Within seconds, the AI-generated cover replaces the placeholder

Ask your AI assistant

  1. Tell ChatGPT or Claude: make the hotel's photo the cover of my Hotel Check-in card
  2. The assistant finds the card (via Trello MCP) and a public image — a hotel website or Google Maps photo
  3. TrelloCover downloads the image safely, optimizes it, and attaches it as the card cover

Connect via the MCP endpoint /mcp (ChatGPT plugins & Claude connectors) or the REST API described in openapi-cover.yaml. Both require an API key. Claude Code users get a ready-made skill in the repo.
